Located near the University City area of Charlotte, Heartlight is surrounded by lush greenery and foliage and flower gardens creating a natural and colorful setting for your perfect event. The center has two event spaces:
The Sanctuary (above) is a 1000 sq ft carpeted space that can host up to 75 in a theater style setting. With full a/v capabilities, including live streaming and recording, it’s a flexible space for your Spiritual Event!
The charming, newly renovated 110-year-old Craftsman Bungalow Light House (below) is the perfect venue for more intimate workshops. The Light House has its original hardwood flooring, offers neutral wall coloring, and is a charming setting with convenient amenities. Included are a prep kitchen with a big island for buffet presentations, seating inside and out on our beautiful porch. Depending on the type of event, this 650 sq ft event space can host events with up to 50 guests.
The two buildings are connected with a covered ramp that also extends to the handicap parking area. The center offers free lighted parking for up to 48 cars. We appreciate your considering HeartLight and look forward to working with you to plan a spiritually empowering event!

Does your event qualify for our Spiritual Event Discounted Rates?
To expand the mission of HeartLight Spiritual Center, we offer the following discounted rates to facilitators of spiritual events that further the mission of HeartLight. Whether an event qualifies for these special rates is determined by the event committee who will take the following into consideration:
1) Is the event in resonance with and will it further the mission and message of HeartLight Spiritual Center?
2) Will the event bring in attendees (beyond the HeartLight Family) who may be searching for a new spiritual community, therefore, expanding the awareness of HeartLight within the larger community?
If the event does not meet the criteria for a Spiritual Event, then regular rental rates ($100/hr) apply and can be found at www.WeddingsandEventsCLT.com

Payments: 50% deposit to book your event Remaining 50% due 72 hours prior to event
Event may be cancelled if balance due is not paid 3 days prior.
Payments accepted: Cash, Check, Creditcard, PayPal, CashApp
Cancellations: All Cancellations are subject to
a $50 Admin/Cancel Fee deducted from refund.
~ 31+ Days from Event: Full Refund (Less Admin Fee)
~ 30 Days from Event: No Refund

- 10% of any items sold is appreciated as a donation back to HeartLight.

General Guidelines:
- Rental Time: Arrival and departure times are the beginning and ending times of the agreement. There is no additional set-up or tear down time granted outside the contract hours.
- Included in all Rentals: Tables and chairs as needed. There will be a charge if sanctuary chairs need to be moved from the sanctuary.
- Hours: We accept rentals from 8 AM to 11 PM
- Noise: HeartLight is located in a residential neighborhood. Following Mecklenburg guidelines, sound must be no greater than 85 Decibels and must stop by 9 on weekdays and 11 on weekends.
- Security Deposit Options: Renter can either provide a $200 Deposit or put a credit card on file for any issues with cleaning, damage or fees for going past event end time.
- Alcohol: Wine, Beer and Champagne is acceptable. We do not have a liquor license, therefore, Liquor (anything that needs to be purchased at an ABC Store) requires an ABC One-time Event Permit. 2 Week processing and $50 fee to obtain the permit from https://abc.nc.gov/Permit/SpecialPermits
