Located near the University City area of Charlotte, HeartLight Spiritual Center is surrounded by lush greenery, flower gardens, and peaceful outdoor spaces—creating a natural, grounded, and spiritually uplifting setting for your event.
HeartLight offers three distinct event spaces, each designed to support spiritually aligned gatherings, workshops, ceremonies, and retreats. Discounted rental rates are available for non-member spiritual events that align with HeartLight’s mission and values. Community life events can be explored at our Community Event Venue website.
✨ The Sanctuary:
The Sanctuary is a 1,000 sq ft carpeted space designed for larger gatherings, teachings, ceremonies, and presentations. It comfortably hosts up to 75 guests in theater-style seating.
This flexible space includes full audio/visual capabilities, with options for live streaming and recording—making it ideal for workshops, talks, meditations, and hybrid in-person/online events.
✨ The Light House:
The charming, newly renovated 110-year-old Craftsman Bungalow—known as the Light House—is perfect for more intimate workshops and small group gatherings.
This 650 sq ft space features original hardwood floors, neutral wall colors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Amenities include a prep kitchen with a large island for buffet-style refreshments, comfortable indoor seating, and a beautiful front porch overlooking lush gardens. Depending on the event style, the Light House can host up to 50 guests.

The Oasis Center is a serene outdoor spiritual space created to support connection, reflection, and ceremony.
This area includes a heart labyrinth, meditation space, and fire pit, along with a 16’ x 32’ event tent equipped with electricity and chandeliers. The tent accommodates up to 50 guests, with additional outdoor seating available for ceremonies, circles, or contemplative gatherings.
The Oasis Center is ideal for retreats, seasonal rituals, weddings, meditation events, and nature-centered workshops.
Accessibility & Parking:
All three spaces are connected by a covered ramp that extends to the handicap parking area. HeartLight offers free, lighted parking for up to 48 vehicles, making arrival and access easy for your guests.

Does your event qualify for our Spiritual Event Discounted Rates?
To expand the mission of HeartLight Spiritual Center, we offer the following discounted rates to facilitators of spiritual events that further the mission of HeartLight. Whether an event qualifies for these special rates is determined by the event committee who will take the following into consideration:
1) Is the event in resonance with and will it further the mission and message of HeartLight Spiritual Center?
2) Will the event bring in attendees (beyond the HeartLight Family) who may be searching for a new spiritual community, therefore, expanding the awareness of HeartLight within the larger community?
If the event does not meet the criteria for a Spiritual Event, then regular rental rates apply and can be found at www.WeddingsandEventsCLT.com

Spiritual Event Pricing and General Guidelines
Discounted rates per building:
Payments: 50% deposit to book your event
Cancellations: All Cancellations are subject to a $50 Admin/Cancel Fee deducted from refund.

- $50 per hour w a minimum of 2 hours
- Live Stream and or Event Recording
- Advertising Package
- Setup and Tear Down
Payments: 50% deposit to book your event
- Remaining 50% due 7 days prior to event
- Event may be cancelled if balance due is not paid 7 days prior.
- Payments accepted: Cash, Check, Creditcard, PayPal, CashApp
Cancellations: All Cancellations are subject to a $50 Admin/Cancel Fee deducted from refund.
- ~ 31+ Days from Event: Full Refund (Less Admin Fee)
- ~ 30 Days from Event: No Refund
General Guidelines:
- Rental Time: Arrival and departure times are the beginning and ending times of the agreement. There is no additional set-up or tear down time granted outside the contract hours.
- Included in all Rentals: Tables and chairs as needed. There will be a charge if sanctuary chairs need to be moved from the sanctuary.
- Hours: We accept rentals from 8 AM to 11 PM
- Noise: HeartLight is located in a residential neighborhood. Following Mecklenburg guidelines, sound must be no greater than 85 Decibels and must stop by 9 on weekdays and 11 on weekends.
